Lord my soul is sleepy, and I find it hard to wake up to face the day with its troubles.
I need you to be my alarm clock, my wakeup call, so that I can jump up with enthusiasm to serve you in others.
May this season of Advent work as your morning call, urging me in your love to wake up and stay awake. May this communion give me the strength to walk in your light and to reflect your light of truth and goodness to those I meet in the coming week.
