A God of Inexhaustible Patience

Lord, you know us so well. You know how exhausting life can be, with so many stresses and strains, pulling us this way and that. We thank you for the peace that comes from participating in your Eucharist as we join you in offering ourselves to the Father and receiving your inexhaustible comfort, and sure hope, as mentioned by St Paul today (2 Thess 2:16-3:5).

How great it is to know that nothing can exhaust you, that you never tire of your love for each of us, and that you are endlessly patient with us when we seem to be running around like headless chickens.

Bring that comfort you promise into our busy lives, so that we may be strengthened to face whatever problems arise, knowing that you are always by our side.
